Donor Programs
The Gerald P. Murphy Cancer Foundation has a variety of donor programs to focus or enhance the support of individuals by consolidating their many gifts into one effort. Among these donor vehicles are the following:
Gerald P. Murphy Legacy Fund
Established in his memory, funded by a myriad of friends, family members, former colleagues and grateful clients.
The Bedrock Group
Donors pledging a minimum of $1,000 per month ($12,000 annually) dedicated to undergird the on-going strength of the foundation and to enable the Foundation to develop the next best thinking in cancer research.
Established to maintain, archive, and display the vast collection of scientific achievements of Dr. Murphy and current scientists at the Foundation. Gifts of $100 or more secure membership in The Gallery Club.
Not Forgotten Book Fund
Support of the Foundation’s activities through the purchase of Not Forgotten, by Alexandra Day, author and illustrator of the best-selling Good Dog Carl children’s series. All proceeds from books purchased directly from the Foundation or through participating veterinary clinics are used to support the PATH to Progress® program.
Named Memorial Funds
Various memorial funds have been established. Funds may be programmatically targeted (for example, prostate or bone cancer, cancer prevention, cancer treatment, aging) or unrestricted. Memorial funds are often applied to equipment, personnel, and other operating expenses to conduct research.
